In October 2023 we were approached by a young couple that had just bought their first home together. It had an awesome pool, but it had aged badly over time, and they felt the all concrete construction could use warming up a bit.
Now a square deck would’ve been easy, the only problem being here, that the existing pool was round. Now you can’t have a square deck around a round pool, so we scratched our heads and designed a solution.
The solution was accepted, and we were on the hook to pull it off. The results speak for themselves. Pine decking was used in this build to help keep costs down, but we work with hardwoods too.
